PRESS RELEASE: Darlene Schmitt Has Earned The Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI®)

This was pretty exciting. I really enjoy continuing my education. My clients trust me with some of their largest assets, and I feel a strong obligation to do everything in my power to stay on the top of my game so I can provide them the highest level of service possible.

When hiring a Real Estate agent to represent you,  there are a few things to look for that will help you be diligent in picking the right agent:

1. Ensure they are a REALTOR® (not all real estate agents are REALTORS® and are not held to the same professional and ethical standards as REALTORS®)

2. Interview them and find out their level of experiences, not just in terms of years in the business (although this is important as well) but the volume of business they have handled.

3. Finding out if the agent has gone over and above the mandated continuing education that is required to renew their real estate license is important. Working with an agent that just doesn’t just do the bare minimum, but is passionate about what they do will help ensure you are being properly represented.
